Thank you for visiting my gallery and I hope you enjoy viewing my wildlife art as much as I enjoy creating it. Pastels are my medium of choice as I love their unique softness and I find them perfect for capturing animals. I would like to acknowledge Lesley Harrison and Mary Herbert, two artists who have had a particular influence on my style and use of medium.

 

Art is my life after my family. Whether it's a commission for a favourite pet (see HERE), or my new wildlife series, being away from it for more than a few hours leaves me itching to get back into my studio.

I hope that my passion and commitment is evident in the work I produce and above all my art generates awareness about the plight and danger facing many of the magnificent animals I paint.
